There isnt much to say. It's a piece of pipe to lower your fan away from the ceiling. I have a 17 foot vaulted ceilings that comes too close to the fan blades if left as they were. The fan needed to be lowered
a few inches more than the downrod provided with the Hunter fan. This did the trick for me.
It matched the bronze fan perfectly and was easy to install. These come in different lengths.
Just measure carefully, and purchase the best one for you, so your fan isn't too low or high.
