Not hard to install, but when done noticed that too much of the light fixture was sticking out above the glass globe. This is very unattractive. Bought 2 of them, am returning one. Will try to make the threaded pipe shorter so that the glass globe will fit closer to the motor and cover where the chain comes out. I have several Hunter fans and this is the first bad experience. Also, description does NOT state that the 60 watt bulbs are candelabra bases.
