I researched and found this item and purchased it from Amazon due to the poor contruction of my new house.The overhead light fixtures were installed with very weak blue plastic electrical boxes which are not fan rated.This was the perfect solution.I pulled out the cheap plastic box and installed this brace.Very sturdy, heavy duty, product.It does exactly what is says it will do.GREAT PRODUCT!!!!
