I love Hunter Fans!This one was a replacement for an older model that was damaged by a contractor.This fan is easy to install, whisper quiet, and looks great.I installed this fan on my screened porch, and it has been providing us with quiet cool all summer long. One thing to note - since it is made for outdoor installation, the fan has a visible white rubber gasket that sits between the ceiling and the fan's collar to keep water from getting down into the fan.If you don't like the way the gasket looks and your installation is not truly outside, you don't have to install the gasket.Overall, a great fan that mounts flush with the ceiling.I would recommend it to anyone looking for a flush-mount fan for outdoor installation. Well worth the money, so go ahead and take the plunge!
