I bought 3 of these fans for our home.

Pros:

Looks modern
Decent watts per air moved
Remembers settings, even after power outage
Optional flush mount kit
Remote control can be either wall mounted or kept as a loose remote

Cons:

All 3 units I received were warped (oval, not circular)
Not very quite - can hear electrical humming when on lowest speed
Blades feel like cheap material
Lighting just mediocre - bulbs are recessed so half of light output is coveredAll of the fans I purchased came warped.Here is a video of one of them: [...]).Notice the dome isn't circular, it actually scrapes against the light fixture in one spot every time it rotates.Monte Carlo at first tried to deny it was their problem, I'm still trying to get them to own up the problem but given the iffy quality of the fans and their less great customer support, I would recommend folks to stay away from this fan.

Monte Carlo WT150 Ceiling Fan Wall Mounted Transmitter Control (Transmitter Only) Review

This switch is adequate but there are better switches out there.
I bought this switch for my son's room and it's really fine but I found a much better switch for my family room.

But you should know...
This switch needs 110 volt power.It doesn't need to be connected to the fan because this is a wireless switch.

The WT150 (this product) uses a battery and that's the main reason I don't like it compared to the CT100 (no battery).

Monte Carlo 5AV52WH Avanti 52-Inch 5-Blade DC Motor Ceiling Fan with Matte White Blades, White Review

I made the mistake of buying a Home Depot fan a few years ago. Bad idea. By last summer it started humming on low speed because dust had gotten in the bearings.

So I researched carefully before buying this replacement. I had never heard of Monte Carlo but they get good ratings just about everywhere I found. This fan has sealed bearings so dust will not get in.

It is also the most efficient ceiling fan made according to ENERGY STAR using only 24 watts on high speed (about one third as Much as other ENERGY STAR rated fans.).It is nearly silent, and pushes air well.

One thing we love is that it has four speeds - most others have three - and the low speed is just enough to move air around. It also uses less than 2 watts at thus speed.

Installation was easy and there were extra screws and parts included.

I am pretty this fan will last for many years.

Monte Carlo 3MTR38TMO Mach Two 38-Inch 3-Blade Ceiling Fan with Remote, Titanium Review

I had this fan installed in my kitchen.It looks great and really moves the air.It's also nice for small spaces because of its compact design.Be warned though, from the pictures it looks more silvery to match typical stainless appliances, and in "real" life it's darker than typical stainless steel.

Monte Carlo 5CY60RB Cyclone 60-Inch 5-Blade Outdoor Ceiling Fan, Roman Bronze Motor Finish and Teak ABS with Grain Blades Review

I bought this fan to put outside at our Boat slip at the marina.We had a Hampton Bay 48 inch outdoor fan from Home Depot up but wanted a wider radius.The 48 inch fan had great RPM's and a great wind/breeze maker but was just not wide enough to cover our deck at the lake.So we opted for this 60 inch outdoor fan.We went to install it, on a 4 foot down pole, like the Hampton Bay 48 inch and found, unlike all other standard fans, it takes a 1/2 inch rod instead of the industry standard 3/8's inch rod.Well, they don't make one so we had to custom make one out of a 48 inch galvanized steel pole for plumbing.That worked fine.

However, once we had it installed, thats when we found the most disappointing thing.Unlike ALL ceiling fans we have owned for more than 25-30 years, this fan, ON HIGH, moved like most fans on low to medium.We thought we had something hooked up wrong, so we spend 2 hours taking it back down, analizing it and putting it back up to find it still moved slower on high than any other fan we have ever seen.It did not hardly move any air/wind outdoors, being it was an outdoor fan.

Once we got home from the lake, I looked up on the companies web site montecarlofans dot com, and found the RPM's for this fan are HORRIBLE.

On Low, the RPMS are only 37 RPM's... thats 1 rotation per 2 seconds... on HIGH, the RPM's are a laughable 147 which is approx 2 1/2 Rotations per minute... unlike nearly every other ceiling fan, when you put them on high, you can barely make out the blades they are turning so fast, you can literally count the rotations with this one they are turning so slowly. and you can make out each blade on High...

I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from buying this fan.The NON Standard size down pole fittings and the HORRIBLY slow RPM's make this fan only good for 'atmosphere', not for 'functionality'.
