Minka-Aire F577-ORB 52" Concept I Contemporary WET Outdoor Bronze Ceiling Fan w/ Light & Wall Ctrl Review

This fan lives under my patio, and while I liked the picture when I saw it online, I like it more in person. The color is a little more subtle, in a good way. It circulates a lot of air with no rocking, very minimal noise, and that's asking a lot for a Deep South summer. My concern when ordering it was that the lights might be too dim, but I realize that if I were using it outside at night, I wouldn't want terribly bright lights anyway, which has proven true. It's just right, and it fits my design aesthetic. Happiness.

This is a very nice fan. Very quiet and the remote is great. If I had anything to complain about it would be the color of the glass light bowl. When illuminated you see a faint rainbow prism in the glass.

Hunter Fan 23931 52-Inch Meadow Midnight Copper Ceiling Fan Review

Sometimes, you got to say "What the heck; I can afford it."This is a nice fan.Heavy cast aluminum housing, and, all accenting parts are of a higher end quality than the fans you find at the home improvement warehouses. Mine spins rock steady on a 5' downrod. But, Hunter could afford to add a couple of details/accessories at this price level.A remote control, nice bulbs, and a 24" drop rod would have made it seem 'complete'. Including a remote control would have earned it a 5-star rating from me.

Note: Drop rods are impossible to find, and, few lengths offered, in midnight copper....provencial gold is close, and, a good substitute.

Hunter 23970 Oasis Three-Light 54-Inch Five-Blade Ceiling Fan, New Bronze and Antique Dark Plastic Wicker Review

The fan works and looks great but there was a problem with it when we installed it.Fortunately, my husband knew that when the fan is installed the blades need to move freely without power and that wasn't happening.If you run it while the blades are locked up you can burn out the motor.

He had to take the unit apart and found a clip improperly installed in the motor.He was able to repair it and reassemble the fan and now it works fine.It is very quiet during operation.
