I really love this fan. I've put it in all my bedrooms. It's beautiful and low profile, and it circulates the air well. Great price. You CAN outfit it with compact fluorescents. Nuvision makes a soft white, candelabra base bulb specifically for this kind of fan, and it's bulb style, so you can have a traditional look while still using cfls.

The Westinghouse Swirl fan provides powerful cooling and air with its 52-inch, five-blade design. The blades are reversible, with one side being white and the other white washed pine, providing versatility in home decorating. Both sides coordinate handsomely with the fan's white finish.
